when x^2 - 3x +2k is divided by x+2, the remainder is 7. find the value of k.

Answer:

let's find the zeros of the divisor

x+2=0

x=-2

let x²-3x+2k =f(x)

Now f(-2)=(-2)²-3(-2)+2k=7

4+6+2k=7

2k=7-10

2k=-3

k=-3/2
